That's not exactly what they were saying. The point they were trying to make is that the 240 is a relatively inexpensive car, that has a lot of backing from the aftermarket, with replacement parts readily available. Couple that with the fact that the 240 is well balanced, easily tunable, and popular make it the best choice for beginning drifters.
That's certainly not to say that the 240/180/Silvia is outclassed in any way. The car is still used extensively in Formula Drift, and D1, though at that point you're really dealing more with a fully tubed frame, and only the body panels and engine block make it a Nissan.

let's all drift ferrari's
there rwd
i'd say it's a step up
i'll take my shifter out there.
shittttt my chain driven 54" wide rear axle will break loose like whatttt.
i still say it's gonna be hard to ever replace the 240's/carrola's/z's of the drifting world.

ohhhh no you didnt.
Faith is a cop-out. It is intellectual bankruptcy. If the only way you can accept an assertion is by faith, then you are conceding that it can't be taken on its own merits. Religion is but myth and superstition.

no, its good. we don't need any more noob kids going out and buying mint GTS 'rollas, and then wrapping them around a telephone poll trying to be mAd TyTe DorIfTo. in fact, i could say the same about 240s.
