Meet Meet Meet


Hi Guys,

Its getting harder and harder to keep this first post updated and talking to everyone, no one seems to read it they just go to the last post to see whats up, I'll see after today if I should keep this going.

Wednesday May 19th, Bubble tea in Coquitlam
Good turnout 7 people showed!!

Wednesday May 26th, Pho in Vancouver and then Bubble tea in Coquitlam
Little better turnout 8 people

Wednesday June 2nd, NSRRacings house we ate we drank (kool-aid), good meet we ended up watching drift and Initial D vids until 2:30 am holy Shiet, I ended up staying awake until 5:00 am and it is now 9:00 am should have slept in on my day off oh well!!
7 people showed!!

Wednesday June 9th, Rain (wings night), It was nice to see more people showing we had about 12 people show we ate wings and then went for coffee.

Wednesday June 16th, Sushi Aji Taro we had a good time 8 people showed we ate and then went to bubble world had tea and played Big 2, I was the all time winner (If any one says different there lying) anyways we stayed until 2:00 am


Wednesday June 23rd, 9:30PM Bubble Tea Bubble world same peps showed drank tea played Big2 and then went to eat at A&W MMMMM forbiden burger!!!!

Wednesday June 30th, 9:30PM Wings at Rain this was the biggest turnout yet we had 18 people, it was off the hook, we went for bubble tea afterwards and sat and played big two until 2 in the morning.

Wednesday July 7th, 9:30PM, Bubble Tea Bubble world Coquitlam, had tea then Denny's then went to my house and chilled until 5:00 AM

Wednesday July 14th, 9:30PM PHO Van in Vancouver Fraser and 18th. We had a good turnout some new faces showed we had about 15 people, we then went to Bubble Tea. It was a funatabulous night. (Hey Nick I haerd some girl just wanted to be friends with you) HaHaHa

Wednesday July 21st, 9:30PM, Well we went to Rain and as soon as they seated us they told us they ran out of wings (what a bunch of sh!t) so we decided to go to Boston Pizza, we sat there until like 11:30 and then went to Krispy Kremes mmmmm forbiden doughnut!!! Any ways it was a good turnout we had 15 people show. Good Times, Good People!! And props to Ken for comming all the way from Bellingham!!!

Wednesday July 28th, We were at Nicks house (TheBomb) we had a good time I think we saw UFO's and shooting stars but hey who knows, also don't shake Vince's right hand *LOL* anyways the roads were awesome, I now know why Nick gets into so much trouble with the law. We had about 13 people show and few got drunk, but there was no drinking and driving!!! We had some resistance but in the end the law was upheld, oh yeah by the way Slava you still owe Nick 5 bucks. Ha Ha Ha!!!

August 4th, 10:00 PM Sushi (All You Can Eat) Aji Toro, Well we ended up at Richmond sushi because Aji Toro was way too packed, there was 8 of us and OMG I can't believe how much we ate in the span of 40 minuites. Here is a list of what we ate.

40 Salmon Pieces
75 Beef short rib Pieces
4 Oyster (the baked ones)
4 orders of Vegi tempura
45 orders of California rolls
10 orders of misc rolls
8-10 Skewers
10 orders of Gyoza
etc...
I am not sure how much more we ate but Holy Sh!t...

Wednesday August 11th, 10:00 PM Pho Van, Good meet 10 people showed ate and then went to bubble world.

Wednesday August 18th, I wasn't here so I am not sure what happened?

Wednesday August 25th, 9:30 PM Richmond Sushi. 16 people showed, good turnout we then went for Bubble Tea (Like always horray for the tea)!!

Wednesday September 1st, 8:00 PM, Bubble World then Pho Van then D-Lot.

Wednesday September 8th, 9:30 PM, Wings (Surrey) King George and 72nd I must say we got owned by the hot wings they have there I was so sick for the next two days because the wings were so dam hot!! Anyways it was 5 of us and it was fun!!
I think AJ got owned the worst!!

Wednesday September 15th, 9:30 PM, Greek Food in Coquitlam Kefhi, it was expensive but it was good only 6 of us showed, we had fun.

Wednesday September 22nd, 8:00 PM, Cat and Fiddle good eats we had 14 people but only 5 NWN guys, way to bring out the friends.

Wednesday September 29th 8:30 PM, Montanas all you can eat ribs, and the winner is Totoro, let me tell you this guy can eat as soon as we got our food I dove right in after two little pieces of ribs I look at Eric and he was done everything on his plate, whoo!!! 10 people showed.

Wednesday October 6th, 7:00 PM had dinner at Hons in Coquitlam, then had our big big Texas Hold'um tornament, well it wasn't that big anyways I lost 20 bucks and someone else who will remain nameless lost 20 bucks sorry Vince. Opps. we had a good time 7 people showed. What happened Adrian I thought you were comming?

Wednesday October 13th, 8:00 PM, Chongqing Restaurant
2808 Commercial Dr. there was just 5 of us but whoever missed out we had some good food, we later went to bubble world on Kingsway, along the way we lost someone huh!! Meet up with a couple of more people, good times!!

Wednesday October 20th, 9:30 PM, Richmond Sushi Behind Yaohan Center in Richmond. We came, We sat, We conquered.
7 people showed.

Wednesday October 27th, 8:30 PM, Pho Van - Good turnout 8 people in total had some new faces, lost one when we went to take pics at MetroTown.

Wednesday November 3rd, 8:00 PM, Cat & Fiddle Poco. Good turnout the reg crew came out ate lots of wings though, went to estea right after and played cards.

Wednesday November 10th, 8:30 PMMontana's in Coquitlam at coquitlam center beside London drugs!! 8:30 PM 8 peps showed again the reg crew!! Good time and then estea right after for some tea and cards.

Wednesday November 17th, Not sure what happend I could not go out Kids and wife and stuff!!

Wednesday November 24th 8:30 PM No.9 we had 6 people show ate a lot of food then went home with stomach aches, once again Eric is the man eating about 1 to 1,5 liters of hot and sour soup,

Wednesday December 1st - Wednesday January 26th No Meets We'll start up in Feb 2005 again Happy Christmas (politically correct) and New Years!!!

pho is vietnamese noodles in soup. bubble tea(aka pearl tea) is usually milk tea with big tapioca balls in it.

I think originating from taiwan being a "gourmet" drink...but now it's cheap and readily available. it's good stuff. I recommend Taro...it's light purple..but hey..if there can be a pink drift car that's cool...there can be a purple drink that's cool too ahha

EDIT: and starbucks is a giant multinational corporation specializing in coffee. heh

Its on lets meet tomorrow at bubble world in Coquitlam north road right accross the street from lougheed mall (Beside churchs chicken) say 9:30pm ish we can get together and discuss the meets for the summer, and eat some sticky rice, shu mai and other stuff real cheap, mmmmm sticky rice!! I'll be there no matter what! I need my bubble tea fix.

I say we meet at a restaurant every Wednesday night at 9:30 pm for PHO I know a cheep place on Fraser and 18th probably cost 10 dollars or less per person.

yes Rain in burnaby on lougheed and bainbridge.
i've never been there so i can't vouch for how good the wings are...
