S14 - Supra989 Build Thread! - 06-07-2008, 11:46 AM

OK so this is how it looked when i picked it up.

Then i installed the HKS HiPower exhaust!

Then i drove it around and realized it need new subframe bushings...

So i went to SPL parts and order these bad jacksons!

It took a whole day to get them in but i did it!

After that i decided to put my coilovers on.

and the strut bar

So here it is all dropped now.

After that i realized it would probably need a new alignment so i bought these.

and got a free dvd too

So this is where i stand if the weather gets better by tomorrow ill have the arms all on the car waiting to get aligned....

Nice parts and car, but this isn't worthy of a "build" thread :P

you should wait till you have a million dollars in parts that youve installed and logged.. then a build up11 keeps me entertained for longer.

on a side note to put solid bushings in ive heard to put them in the freezer for awhile and it makes install alot easier..

and your footwork is BALLER

Was your subframe making a clunking/banging sound when you went over bumps before you put those solid bushings in?

lol no there is nothing wrong with the half moons, s13's have full moon design rucas, and s14/s15 have half moon design, so putting half moon rucas on s13 isnt gonna happen. i had some s15 rucas (same half moon design as s14 but more beefier and reinforced ) that i tried to put in my s13 but it would not clear my coilovers. s14 and s15 is interchangeable though.
