I was wondering if anyone could snap some picks of inside their s13 coupe trunk so i could see how the tension rods are supposed to be installed. I have both but cant quite figure out how the bent ends are supposed to attach and where... so right now they are acting as prop rods lol

Tension Rods aren't located in your trunk.

Hes talking about the truck opener tension rods. The rods that connect to each side of your truck hinges, they actuate the truck when you pull the lever in your car so it pops the trunk and they hold it up so it doesnt fall down on your dumbass head haha
That what your talking about?
I would take a pic of mine but there bent so a picture would be greatly appreciated.

lol i knew someone was going to say this
and marc240 yes you are right i am referring to the tension/torsion rods that pop the trunk up, any pics would be a help. I have a chilton style manual for the car but there is only a very small and very unclear picture of how they attatch and which end goes where. so if anyone had a pic or could snap one that would be great!

thanks for the link, but i am not looking for the brace, i am looking for a picture showing the two tension/torsion rods that cross by the trunk hinge (they look like beefier coat hanger wires with two different "U" hooks on each end), and they put tension on the trunk lid so that when you unlock it, it holds itself up and doesnt fall on you.
what i need is an upsidedown shot of this basically, but showing the underside of where the speakers go just so i can see which end of each rod hooks on to what

It installs the way you see it in the picture. You need to twist the rods to install it. Kinda a bitch to install GL...
