Spokane Meets

Hey all, it looks like our Mt Spokane cruise is going to have to be changed. There is a new Washington state parks fee since our state is broke, and I don't think everyone wants to pay an extra 10$ just to park their car. Also I am hearing that since it took so long to
warm up this year, the road up to the top is still closed. So to fix these issues we are probably going to do a cruise to somewhere
near post falls. That way we don't have to worry about any Washington state fees, and there won't be any weather issues.

The meet is still planned for Sunday August 28th. If anyone knows of a good spot to cruise to near post falls/ coeur d'alene I am open to suggestions.

There's a cool road that starts at Spokane st. in post falls, and winds through the hills and ends up in CDA by the floating restaurant. I don't remember what it's called, but it's a pretty fun run. Maybe someone from over there can tell us what it's called.

Edit: Looks like: W Coyote Ln, to W Cougar Gulch Rd and ends a US-95 at Cougar Bay. Maybe we could do the run, then stop and hang out somewhere in CDA for some lunch (some little burger place or something).

Sounds like a good run Creepy. Hudson's hamburgers in downtown CDA would be awesome, or just the zips there. Lets try to plan for that. Hopefully lots of people can come out, and someone with a nice camera to get some good pics again this year.

i was wondering if anyone had a 240 shell or just the front clip of a 240 for sale....i dont need body panels or anything i just need a spare engine bay to R&D my engine swap before actually swapping the engine into the vert.....if anyone has one just let me know

FRIDAY, AUGUST 26th! Stateline Drift's 2nd open event for ANYONE & EVERYONE! Gates open at 4pm, drifting starts at 5pm and will be going till 10pm. No cage needed, dot or better helmet, MUST FOLLOW RULES! $4 to spectate, $15 to enter car show (good for two spectator passes), $35 to drift (unless you haven't been there before then it is $70 for your first time).

Lots of seat time, nothing to crash into, plenty of people to learn from. Bring whatever it is you have and have fun.

Sunday Aug. 28th

Meet up at the Sullivan park in spokane valley around 10am.
Sullivan Park is just north off the freeway and right on the north side of the Spokane river. (by the RC track)

We'll depart from the park around 10:30am and drive to Post falls and then through the mountains to CDA.
