Garrett T25 - Real or Fake? Plz help.

I found a Garrett T25 replacement for my SR20DET. But the picture the seller sent me doesn't look like the one I have currently. Is it real? Fake? Quality? Crap? Thoughts? Thanks !!

This is the one In my car now, It looks exactly like the original that I replaced last year.

This is the one I might buy.

    Thanks for the thoughts!

Are you buying the t25 or the t28 cuz oem t25's have bolt holes on the front where the itake turbine is and on the top where the intercooler piping goes. That t25 in the pic doesnt look like an oem t25 if thats what yourbuying.

I'm looking to buy the T25. The big one is apparently what he's upgrading to.

Buddy says that he believes it's a "Turbo Man Garrett T25 M-24 A/R.60".
He wants $300, and the best I could squeeze him to was $275 (Canadian).

I'm cool with the price as long as it's not made of tin. I want my next turbo to last. He says this one has like 40k on it.

edit: Yeah KIDD, I think I want an OEM replacement unless this is just as good or better??? I just don't know..

Thanks for the comments. Keep em coming if you got em!

Griego according to this guy http://www.club-s12.org/forums/index...howtopic=20110 you'd be right... anyone back that up?

It wouldn't be as good as a proper T25g would it...

I was just guessing -- figured it *was* a t25, just from something else.

Maybe doug or someone can confirm.

Thanks guys, we can let this thread die It's NOT a legit SR20DET T25g. He sent me new pics of the actual turbo and it matches with mine.
