    Clutch pedal goes to floor

Hey wats up? i got a 91 s13 hatch that recently had a 5 speed swap installed by drift office. Everything has been good for the past month until it started getting pretty cold a couple weeks ago. When it started getting cold i would notice the clutch pedal would engage much lower then usual. But after about 30 min driving it around it would go back to normal. Well yesterday i drove to friends and the whole day it was staying pretty low and after i had parked it and came back hours later the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there. I ended up driving back without using the clutch.. I checked fluid which is still all there and there are no leaks.

Any ideas? im a lil stumped.. But any input is appreciated. Thanks!

RIP s13 coupe missile. 92 vert
the only thing i can think of is theres air in the system or the clutch master cylinder is going out, mine kinda used to do the same thing and it was the master

Bleed it out again. Check for leaks.

First thing I thought was air in the lines. A proper bleed should solve your problem.

Open the driver door and push the A-pillar with your shoulder. worked for me until i slipped from the icey ground and knocked out. good times when you're drunk/mechanic man

Get a friend or two to help push. Maybe a can of spinach will help.

Most likely you have an internal leak in the master or slave cylinder. You can a rebuild kit, but it's better just to replace.

well i tried bleeding the car and still didnt help. And i couldn even pump the clutch since its at the floor and not moving. And also only a couple of drops of fluid came out of the slave and nothing came out of the dampener box but this seems strange to me since the master cylinder reservior is completely full. I know it could be either the slave or master but to me it seems like the fluid isn getting to the slave.... hmmmmm

You still have the factory dampener in, remove it and carefully reroute the hardline to the slaves rubber line, re-bleed system. If it still has no pressure, mc or sc issues are present.

removed the dampener and rerouted the hardline. replaced the slave and master cylinder but stilll pedal is to the floor. it seems impossible to be able to pump the clutch wen its all the way to the floor so how would bleed if i cant pump the clutch pedal at all since its still at the floor

Grab with hand, pull up, push down, pull up, push down. Is it really that hard?
