We received a LOT of feedback on the classified system that was introduced Dec 2004, both positive and negative. With the information gathered from recent polls and some custom coding we've taken some of the pro's of the new system and combined them with the pro's of the old system.
The new "Forum Style" classifieds are now open with the following features:
- Forum based, so new ads/replies show up when searching for New Posts
- Custom Form for posting new Ads - required fields will prevent useless ads and incomplete details.
- Browsing by Thumbnails [vehicle sections only]
- Trader Feedback integration
- Minimal classifed sections for quicker browsing.
- Currency Conversion
After Submiting your ad you'll be taken to the edit post page where you can make final tweaks and upload attachments that will be displayed during thumbnail browsing. We're working on including the attachment management directly in the form and will make the change when it's possible.
We hope you enjoy the new Classifieds and appreciate your patience during the trial process of the last system. The old classifieds will be removed on Jan 7th so get your ads over to the new forum soon. Sorry for the inconvenience, this is the last time we will be completely changing the classifieds like this.

does that mean people have to relist parts and stuff they had for sale? or is it being brought over? because classifieds now look empty.

I think it just is moved into the Sections, and you select when you fill out the form if it is to buy or not.
