this is where all the food will go, there is a grill. There about 15 other pinic tables. Where I have space reserved for people to sit down if they want.

try to park as close as possible to the space we reserved.

Be there on time, they could possibily close the gates around 11:00. I am not kidding, if you could park before 10:00, that would be great. There will tons of people not just us. But Wal-mart is holding a pinic as well.

Please pm me or post in the thread what you are going to bring so I can compile a list.

This is a nice park. Has plenty of parking, and space, so we can do whatever we want. Hopefully the Canadians will come down here. = ]

Did u contact the park before planning this?? Its probably a good idea to do so!

There is a special permit u need if more than 120 people are attending

Area: Groups over 120 require a special event permit. Fee determined at the time of application. Special use permits are not issued during the months of June-July-August at Steel Lake Park.

    wow, great initiative! I'm impressed!!

I'll make plans to be there. Please find out the details with the parkboard and get in contact with an exec member. If we have to get a permit let us know and we'll make it happen.

Added to calendar and updated with RSVP link
