This will be the 2nd annual Steel Lake Potluck/Cruise. Everyone is invited out to enjoy the summer afternoon, sit down and have some Lumpia with fellow enthusiasts. Be sure to ask your friends asian moms to cook some Lumpia, Pancit, and Chicken! Or you can just stop by Safeway and get hooked up in the deli.

There is talk of a possible cruise / photoshoot. If we can get a group together then we will head up there later that evening. We are still discussing a possible location, so TBA!

Ok how many of you guys last year, came to the steel lake meet? I need some input, is there any interest in this meet again this year? As dead as NWN is, I don't know if there are any members still willing to show support.

For new members This meet was orgazined last July and we almost had about 50-75 cars easily. It was the very first meet, to ultilize a Potluck like theme, which kept the meet costs down. It turned out great, there were tons of different food. Everyone met new people, there was some nice weather. Located in the heart of Federal Way, WA it is close to Olympia,Tacoma,Seattle. It's actually not too far from Portland as well, only 2 hours drive. It's about 20 minutes from Golden Gardens, so not too far for people up north. It is literally 2-3 minute drive off the freeway. There is plenty of parking as much as Golden Gardens first parking lot, and I will have reservations made. As my friend does work for the park. I do understand that there was confusion last year, based on the fact the tables were not as close to the parking spaces last year, I will be working this year for them to be even closer.
