its a direct bolt on and its HUGE!! ... i was going to do that + injectors rails and cams and all thats. but unless you plan on doing more than 350+ i wouldnt. i mean your basic bolts on like 550cc injectors, Z32 mafs, ECU tune, t28 turbo is a pretty decent set up and i seem to enjoy it enough to do it on mine

Dude you know how much it will take to make a 1000hp sr??? Then the practicallity of trying to drive it. Make 400 reliable usable horse, then get it to the ground and go from there. Im good, how are you!! What are the plans for the car... drag?

Just so you know I looked into a Q45 for my RB awhile ago and research shows that making under 400hp if you have the Q45 it looses both horsepower and response, 400+ it performs the same as stock and then doesnt do any good till you start making massive power.

The Q45 MAF is like $50 and the Z32 is like $100-150. Go Q45.

Ya Q45 TB is overkill, whenever you do a big turbo upgrade most people reccomend keeping stock manifold and tb and run the setup to see how it goes. That way you are able to tell how the upgrade benefits the scenario. If you do too many upgrades at once then you can lose track of where you might have lost power. I'll tell ya I'm shooting for 400+ this summer and I will be running stock tb and manifold. Once I know how it runs I am putting on a custom plenum with the Q45 TB next year. Generally you will lose a lot of throttle response because its overkill. I want to get about 500rwhp eventually so I plan on running it. Last upgrade though. I will have my engine rebuilt before I do the tb and manifold! Just my thoughts!

Intake manifolds aren't that hard to swap out, so I would personally start tuning the engine first. The stock T/B should allow better throttle modulation on the street, 90mm seems like overkill to me. There are a lot of guys out there making a lot of power on stock T/Bs, head work and cams will make a bigger difference.
